The Wellcraft 28 is the brand's most exciting new launch, a completely all-new 28-foot range, bringing Wellcraft's offshore performance heritage into a versatile, accessible and highly social package. Available through Pappas Bros in four versions: Speedster, T-Top Sport, T-Top High, and Explorer.

All four models share the same advanced stepped hull, developed in partnership with Navia, a Finnish specialist in high-performance stepped hull design and built using Wellcraft's W.I.S.E. (Wellcraft Infujection Structure Engineering) construction process, which fuses the hull and structural frame into a single piece for a lighter, stiffer and stronger result. With single or twin outboard engine options, every Wellcraft 28 exceeds 50 knots, planes quickly and runs dry even at speed, delivering a genuinely exciting on-water experience in a compact and easy-to-handle format.

The three models differ in terms of protection and layout, giving buyers a clear choice based on how they want to use their boat. The 28 Speedster is the most open and sporting version. A pure, uncluttered deck with a low sport windshield that keeps the full open-air feel and is built for speed, agility and fast coastal runs. The 28 T-Top adds a fixed composite T-Top structure and is available in two windshield configurations: the Sport version, which keeps an open and connected feel while still offering meaningful protection; and the High version, which features a taller windshield and wraparound T-Top for greater all-weather coverage during longer coastal runs. The 28 Explorer takes the same hull further still, adding an enclosed wheelhouse that enables genuine year-round, all-weather use, making it the most capable version for extended passages and exploring further afield.

What all four versions share is the Wellcraft 28's highly flexible aft cockpit. The standard Lounge layout seats up to 13 people with forward-facing seats for safety at speed, while the Relax layout, available on the Speedster and T-Top, transforms the cockpit into a large sunbed area with concealed storage, ideal for relaxing at anchor. The Explorer adds the exclusive Sleeper layout, which introduces two berths and exterior lounging space for genuine overnight stays. Safety throughout includes a closed transom, high sides, oversized handrails and a side dive door.
